0

This error message can appear if you've installed the Microsoft Word XP / 2003 and the Microsoft Word 2007/2010/2013 version of the FaxTalk Merge installation files on the same computer.

  1. In Windows, Point to Search or Find, and search for Programs & Files or All Files and Folders. In the Named field, type: FaxTalk2k7.dotm and then click Search. The default location for this file should be in the Office/Startup or OfficeXX/Startup folder (where XX represents the numerical version of Microsoft Office installed, Office XP=9, Office 2003=10, Office 2007=11, Office 2010=12, Office 2013=14).
  2. Repeat the search for the file “FaxTalk2K3.dot”.

  • If you are using Microsoft Word 2013/2010/2007 you should not have the “FaxTalk2K3.dot” file present in the Office/Startup or OfficeXX/Startup folder. Remove/delete the FaxTalk2K3.dot file and restart Microsoft Word 2013/2010/2007.
  • If you are using Microsoft Word XP/2003 you should not have the “FaxTalk2K7.dotm” file installed in the Office/Startup or OfficeXX/Startup folder. Remove/delete the FaxTalk2K7.dotm file and restart Microsoft Word 2003 or Microsoft Word XP.

Error : 5852 “Requested object is not available.” or “The object invoked has disconnected from its clients” when performing a fax merge

$

0

Immediately after performing a FaxTalk Fax merge, you may see the following error message appear: Error 5852 Requested Object is not available or Automation Error: The object invoked has been disconnected by its client. This error message can occur when your database source (Mail Merge Source) contains more than 10,000 recipients.

There is an (undocumented) limit with Microsoft Word (confirmed Word 2003, Word 2007 and Word 2010) where selecting specific recipients from the recipient list of over 10,000 records will fail. The Recipient list will only display a maximum of 10,000 records in the list. This will cause the Fax Merge to fail regardless of how many recipients you select.  If the database contains more than 10,000 records the merge process cannot be completed.

This can be duplicated in Microsoft Word by clicking on the Mailing Tab, Edit Recipient List (with your mail merge document open). The maximum amount of records displayed in this dialog box is 10,000. If you attempt to select specific recipients, they are not saved by Microsoft Word. You can confirm this by selecting a few recipients, then click OK. Then click Edit Recipient List again to review your selections, all the selected recipients you previously selected are lost.

If you repeat these steps with a database that contains 10,000 or less records, this problem does not occur.

Workaround:

There are two possible workarounds for this problem. The first is to use a refined list, so the Recipient list will display fewer than 10,000 recipients.  The second is to modify your database(s) so you use less than 10,000 records per database.

Refining your recipient list (Recommended Workaround):

Prior to starting the Fax Merge you must refine the recipient list by use of the FILTER option, this will reduce the selected recipient list that appears in this dialog box so it is 10,000 or fewer contacts. When you select the option “Select Recipients” or when the Recipient list appears, click on the FILTER option under Refine recipient list. Here you can refine your list, so fewer than 10,000 recipients are displayed.

Some Possible filters include,

Field: Fax Number Comparison : Is not blank
Field: Last Name Comparison : Is Less Than Compare to: M (will display all records with last names A-N)

You may only require a single filter such as Fax Number is not blank, however, if this isn't sufficient, you will need to apply additional filters based on the data you want to appear in the list.

Splitting your database source into two (or more) separate databases (Alternative Workaround)

Since Microsoft Word cannot handle more than 10,000 records at a time, you can create a new database source that contains less than 10,000 recipients. For example, if you have 15,000 recipients in your database, you can split it to two separate databases of 7,500 records each.  Of course by doing this you would have to perform 2 or more separate fax merges and handle update accordingly.  We recommend using a refined list whenever possible when dealing with large databases.

Error “Unable to create sendjob” or “Initialization failed” when sending a fax merge

$

One of the following error messages may appear when there is a failure within the FaxTalk API.

“Unable to create sendjob”
“Initialization failed”,
Method “PrintToAttachment” of object “IFaxTalkAPI” failed .

Please check for the following:

a) your build of FaxTalk is version 7.5 , build 4120 or higher (See below regarding obtaining an update)
b) confirm that the FTclctrl.exe program (FaxTalk Call Control) is active before you perform the merge.

If any of these FaxAPI error messages appear, the FaxTalk API needs to be reinitialized before you can continue using FaxTalk and Word.

Here are two methods to reset/reinitialize the FaxTalk API:

a. reinitialize(reset) the FaxTalk API manually.

1. In Windows, Start the Task Manager by typing “taskmgr” in the Run line. (Start, Run … type “taskmgr”)
2. From the Task Manager window, Click on the “Processes” Tab
3. Locate the task “FTprnjob.exe”, if found, select it and click End Task.
4. Locate the task “FTmsgr32.exe”, if found, select it and click End Task.
5. In the run line, type: c:program filesFaxTalkFTclctrl.exe /kill (replace c:program filesFaxTalk with your installation path of FaxTalk)
6. Start FaxTalk from Windows or from the Word 2007/2010 icon, “Start FaxTalk”
7. Locate and confirm that the task “FTclctrl.exe” is active and running. If it is not active, you need to start it, in the run line, type c:program filesFaxTalkFTclctrl.exe (replace c:program filesFaxTalk with your installation path of FaxTalk)

or

b. Restart the computer. (This will automatically reinitialize/rest the FaxTalk API)
After reboot, confirm that the task “FTclctrl.exe” is active and running. If not, follow step 7 above.

If you are using Version 7.5 (Does not apply to version 8.0 or later)

If you still encounter problems after rebooting or manually resetting the FaxAPI and confirming that “FTclctl.exe” is active.
and you are using Build 4120 of FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 7.5 or FaxTalk Messenger Pro 7.5, then it is recommended to update to build 4130 or higher.

To confirm the build of FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 7.5 or FaxTalk Messenger Pro 7.5

You can check this by clicking on the “Start FaxTalk” icon in Word 2007/2010. This will open the FaxTalk Manager. Click, Help, About.

You should see:

Version 7.5 (Build 4130)

If you do not have build 4130 (or higher), contact us for upgrade pricing.

WinFax PRO crashes or closes when entering a fax number, CSID, or when attempting to edit a phonebook.

Situation: Using Windows XP you find that WinFax will now shut down prematurely while entering or editing a phonebook or any other number entry in WinFax PRO.

Known products affected: WinFax PRO 10 (all releases), TalkWorks PRO 3.

Operating Systems affected: Windows XP (all releases)

You may have also encountered similar problems such as dialog boxes disappearing, unexpected Windows closing during the installation and shutdown when entering the CSID (Caller Station Identifer) during the installation of WinFax PRO. WinFax PRO may also close, hang or freeze when entering an IP address for fax sharing, a fax sharing password, an area code, or any other numerical entry field within the application.

We first discovered this problem with the introduction of Windows XP Service Pack 2, although some reports of this problem may have existed since as early as 2003.

This is a known problem that may occur during some installations of WinFax PRO that are operating under the Windows XP operating system. While it is unknown what combination triggers this problem in the operating system, we believe a change in security settings and a combination of other settings within Windows XP triggers the problem in WinFax PRO. This problem often occurs after upgrading to a new service pack in Windows XP, and/or applying security updates to Windows XP or Internet Explorer.

GetFaxing.com provides an application called WinFax Tools that automatically optimizes WinFax PRO to use the best settings for use with Windows XP.  While Symantec released WinFax PRO to be compatible with Windows XP, there are known incompatibilies that we have since discovered and documented.

Optimizing WinFax PRO for use with Windows XP

WinFax PRO was discontinued in 2006 and no new updates to the software have been released since 2005. We recommend you follow these steps to ensure compatibility and security with WinFax PRO and Windows XP:

  • We recommend updating your Windows XP to the latest security updates including Service Pack 3. The latest Windows XP security updates fix many security holes, including a specific security issue related to the WinFax PRO Viewer application. As of April, 2014, Microsoft is no longer providing updates for Windows XP but you will be able to continue to install existing and available updates for Windows XP.
  • If you do not update the latest security pack and updates, or your Windows XP computer is not actively connected to the Internet, ensure you have applied the Security Update specific for WinFax PRO by downloading “WinFax Tools” and applying the free “Fix Viewer Security DLL” update. This will close the specific security hole related to the WinFax PRO Viewer.  Please note that WinFax Tools does require an internet connection to verify an active subscription to the service.
  • Download and install the WinFax PRO compatibility update we have developed and released for Windows XP (available from within WinFax Tools)

Importing contacts from a Microsoft Excel CSV (comma-delimited ASCII) file into WinFax PRO 10

WinFax PRO can import contact information saved in a CSV (Comma Separated Values comma-delimited ASCII) formatted file into an existing WinFax PRO phonebook. If you have contact information stored in another application that can save or export the contact data to a comma-delimited ASCII formatted file (such as .CSV or .TXT)  you can then import the contact data into WinFax PRO.

Converting Microsoft Excel .xls or xlsx spreadsheets to a .CSV file

If your original data is stored in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet in native Excel XLS format, you will need to first open the spreadsheet in your version of Microsoft Excel and save a copy of this file in .CSV format by clicking on File, Save As… menu option, and select the CSV (MS DOS) format save as option.  This will create a CSV formatted file (yourspreadsheetname.csv) from the Excel Spreadsheet (yourspreadsheetname.xls).  You can then import the .CSV file into WinFax PRO following the steps below.

Importing ASCII files .TXT and .CSV files into WinFax PRO 10 phonebook:

To import an ASCII, .TXT or CSV file, you must first create a WinFax PRO phonebook. To import the file:

  1. In Message Manager, click File, point to Import, and then click Phonebook. The Import Phonebook Wizard appears.
  2. Select ASCII from the Format drop-down list, and then click Next.
  3. Click Select, and change the files of type to “Comma separated values (*.csv)” and browse to the location of the CSV text file. Select the file, click Open, and then click Next.
  4. Select the separator from the drop-down list. If the first row of the file is data, and not a column heading, click Import First Row, and then click Next.
  5. Match the fields on the left side to the Phonebook fields on the right side, and click Next.
  6. Select the phonebook into which you are importing the data, and click Finish. The CSV file is imported. A summary screen appears when the import is finished. You might also encounter an “Import file mismatch” message when trying to import a phonebook. This is due to incorrect linking or ordering of the phonebook fields.

IMPORTANT: If you have your database file open in another application, such as Excel, an error message may appear when you attempt to import the data. Close down all applications that may have your data open, including Excel before performing the import.

How to configure the security settings in Microsoft Word 2010/2007 for the FaxTalk Fax Merge macro

$

Depending on the security level you have set in Microsoft Word 2007/2010, after you install the FaxTalk Merge Macro, you may be presented with a warning message.

This security warning prevents macros located in non-trusted folder from executing automatically.

The following steps will allow you to confirm to Microsoft Word that the FaxTalk Merge Macro is safe, and allow Word to execute this specific macro without any further security warning dialog boxes.

To change your security settings in Microsoft Word 2007/2010:

1. Click the Office button, in Word 2010 click File.

2. Click Word Options.

3. Click on Trust Center

4. Click Trust Center Settings

5. Click Macro Settings

6. Select the Macro Setting option you like, we recommend “Disable all macros with notification.”

NOTE: If you are unable to change these settings, you may have a group policy enabled that does not allow changes to security settings. In most cases, a digitally signed macro such as the FaxTalk Merge Macro will be allowed to run in a trusted location. Contact your IT department for any specific requirements you may need.

When you first start Word 2007/2010 after installation of the FaxTalk Merge Macro, a security warning message will appear. This message will appear only if the macro is installed in a non-trusted location.

If this Security Warning message appears you will be required to trust the certificate stored with the FaxTalk Merge macro, this procedure is only required only once.

1. Click Options…

2. A security alert – macro dialog box appears.

3. Confirm that the “Signed by” signature details indicates “GetFaxing.com“. This confirms that the macro was signed by GetFaxing.com.

4. Click Trust all documents from this publisher, and click OK.

This will enable the macro, and allow the macro to operate without any future security warning messages.

You should now see the FaxTalk Tab, and the icons should function when clicked.

Formatting Microsoft Word mail merge fields using switches

$

Microsoft Word has a powerful feature that can alter how the text appears in your finished merged document, for example, if you have source data (a spreadsheet with a list of names and fax numbers in Excel) that contains names in mixed upper and lower case, it may look unprofessional to include lower case letters in the persons first or last name. Microsoft Word can automatically capitalize the first letter of each word of a merged field with the use of “switches”. Switches are powerful because we can control how the data will appear in the merged document. Sometimes, formatting is lost from the original source data so commas or other characters may not appear properly formatted on the merged Microsoft Word document.

TIP: If you are using Excel as your data source, we always recommend to set the entire column that contains the “Fax Number” to be formatted as “text” (click the column header so all cells are selected, right-click and select “Format Cells”, Choose “text” from the list of available formatting options.) Selecting “text” prevents Excel from automatically formatting the cell contents. If you would like Excel to automatically format the cells as a fax number, you can select “Special” and choose “phone number”.

How to add a “switch” to any merge field on your document:

  1. Right click your mouse on the mail merge field and select the Toggle Field Codes option from the popup menu.Your merged field will now look something like this:
    {MERGEFIELD FieldName}
where “FieldName” is replaced with the name of the actual merge field.
  2. To insert a special formatting “switch” code, you enter a “\” character after the field name, and inside (before) the closed curly bracket. For example, to have Microsoft Word enter a number with a comma (a dollar amount for example), you could enter : \##,###Your merged field now looks like this:
    {MERGEFIELD FieldName \##,###}

  3. Right click on the field again and select Toggle Field Codes to turn if the field codes off.

Now when you document is merged, Microsoft Word will display output in ##,### format, assuming that field is a number, it could display 12,345.

Does faxing work with ZTE Wireless home phone adapters?

$
0
0

Many wireless carriers in the United States and Canada (AT&T, Consumer Cellular, Telus, Fido, Rogers, Koodo etc.)  are now offering a wireless home phone service that can connect your existing home telephone to the carriers cellular network. The wireless home phone service is sold as an alternative to the traditional land-line and your current land-line telephone number can be transferred to the Wireless home phone service.

Many of these hardware devices are manufactured by ZTE (Models WF721, WF720 etc.) are provided by the wireless carrier for a nominal up-front cost and a monthly service fee.  The wireless adapters come with an adjustable external antenna and they must be installed in a location where cellular service is available.  Therefore, it does not work well when installed in basements or in areas where normal cell service is intermittent. The adapter also has a battery backup, so it can continue to be used during a power failure with most desktop phones that don’t require an additional power source.

Fax Modem Connection on Wireless Home Phone Fax

Do NOT connect a USB fax modem or any USB type device into the USB service port of the Wireless Phone Adapter. This can damage the USB device or adapter.

A fax modem or fax machine can be connected to one of the standard telephone RJ-11 jacks (usually labelled LINE 1 or LINE 2) on the Wireless Phone adapter, but faxing with the wireless home phone service is not guaranteed to work.  Many of these cellular carriers do not support fax or alarm system monitoring. Check with your specific cellular carrier or Users Guide to verify compatibility.

Here are some suggestions on configuring the FaxTalk fax software to send and receive faxes using the Wireless Home Phone Adapter

Lower your fax speed in FaxTalk

Adjusting the speed can help when having difficulties sending or receiving faxes. To change the default fax speed settings in FaxTalk:

  1. Open the FaxTalk program.
  2. Click on the Tools menu and select the Options command. The FaxTalk Settings application will open.
  3. Click on the Modem selection in the list to display the Modem configuration page.
  4. Select the modem from the list and click the Properties button.
  5. On the Modem Settings dialog click the Fax tab.
  6. On the Fax tab under the Modem speed settings, select 9600 from both the Fax transmission speed and Fax receive speed dropdown lists.
  7. Click OK to save the change and close the Modem Settings dialog.
  8. Click OK to close the FaxTalk Settings application.

Adjusting (ECM) Error Correction Mode in FaxTalk

Error Correction Mode (ECM) can improve fax transmission quality by verifying the data received is the same as the data sent. This may help in cases where VOIP connections result in some minor data packet loss. However, when there are many errors and retries due to line noise or packet loss/jitter, faxes will usually fail completely. To enable or disable Error Correction Mode (ECM) support in FaxTalk:

  1. From FaxTalk, click on the Tools menu, and click Options.
  2. In the configuration list on the left, click Modem.
  3. On the Modem configuration page, click Properties.
  4. On the Fax tab check Enable Error Correction Mode (ECM) support, uncheck to disable..
  5. Click OK to close the Modem Settings dialog.
  6. Click OK to save the changes and close FaxTalk Settings.

Unimodem Modem Audio sound driver missing in Windows 10

If you updated from an earlier version of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8.x or Microsoft Windows 10 version 1507 (build 10240) to Microsoft Windows 10 version 1511 (builds 10586) or later, the Unimodem Audio driver for your ‘dialup’ fax/voice modem may no longer be installed in Windows.

This can prevent some features of your voice mail/fax software from operating properly.  Audio progress from your modem may be missing and if your fax modem has voice capability, it may not be available with the voice software you are using.

Unimodem Audio Driver MissingUnimodem Audio Driver Missing

As of September 19th, 2016 there has been no official response by Microsoft regarding the lack of this driver in Microsoft Windows 10 versions 1511 and later.  A Microsoft Community thread has gone mostly unanswered on this topic

Microsoft Answers Community Forum

We tested the voice and fax functionality with FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 9, FaxTalk Messenger Pro 9 and FaxTalk Multiline Server 9.  All voice mail functionality is working normally without the presence of the Unimodem Audio Driver in Windows 10 version 1511 or later. Call screening and playback for incoming calls in voice mode is working.

NOTE: Some modems without an internal speaker and without the Unimodem Audio driver will not be able to output the sound from the modem when dialing out or answering fax calls (audio call progress).  Unfortunately, we reproduced this issue on FaxTalk software.

Using Modem Doctor to log and troubleshoot FaxTalk

$

Modem Doctor is a diagnostic and debugging tool included with all FaxTalk fax software. The program will log modem and FaxTalk related events and copy specific system settings from your Windows registry in to a Modem Doctor (.MDR) file. Modem Doctor is a logging tool and it does not make any changes, modifications or repairs to any system. It can help reduce the time it takes to troubleshoot a problem and also provides the technician some basic information about your specific system; such as modem type, model, driver version and other technical details about the system being used. It does not include actual fax documents or user data however, any outgoing fax numbers you attempt to dial out or caller id information for incoming calls may be displayed in the log while the Modem Doctor program was active.

To start Modem Doctor, click on Help, Modem Doctor from your FaxTalk software.

Click on the Log drop down menu and select Log Application and Log Modem. A check-mark should appear on both these entries.

While the FaxTalk Modem Doctor program is open, it will log all events sent to the FaxTalk software and modem.

For example, if you are having problems with sending a fax, you can now attempt to send a fax and Modem Doctor will record the process and events during the transmission. If you are having problems receiving faxes, try sending a fax to yourself and have Modem Doctor record the session.

When you are done logging, you can save the Modem Doctor (.MDR) file by clicking File, Save As… Choose a location where you want to save the file and click OK. Close the Modem Doctor program to stop logging events.

If a GetFaxing representative requested a copy of the Modem Doctor file, attach the Modem Doctor (MDR) file you saved and e-mail to GetFaxing.com technical support.

Windows XP Security Update May 15, 2017 WannaCrypt KB4012598

In March 2017, Microsoft released a patch as outlined in KB4012598 to close a severe security hole in the supported versions of Microsoft Windows OS.  If you have a version of Windows that automatically updates, then you are already patched for this security flaw.

On May 12th, 2017, malware nick-named “WannaCry” and “WannaCrypt” infected hundreds of thousands of machines around the world. The infection is initially spread by e-mail injection and then spread rapidly via internal networks.  Many of these systems were older, unsupported operating systems.

Microsoft still supports and provides security updates for a version of Windows called “Windows XP Embedded” until 2019, so patches for some of these older operating systems are still being created, the problem is that Windows XP and other unsupported operating systems no longer provide the ability to perform automatic updates. These updates are required to be manually downloaded and applied to the operating system. So, unless you’re aware these are available, its unlikely your system was patched.

For this specific security risk outlined in KB4012598, see the Catalog Update to download a patch for your discontinued version of Microsoft Windows.  For Windows XP (32-bit), you must already have Service Pack 3 installed before installing this patch.

Finding correct driver for fax modem using VID & PID values

If you install a fax modem and Windows does not detect or install the modem drivers automatically, you’ll need to install the proper drivers provided from the manufacturer. This can be a problem if you do not have the driver files, and you don’t know the name or model of the fax modem.

If you are unsure what model of fax modem you have, you can check the device properties to determine what brand/model you are attempting to install.

This can be done by checking the VID and PID values of the device that is attempting to be installed.  The PID value provides you the Product ID and the VID provides the Vendor ID (the modem manufacturer, or chip-set manufacturer) such as Conexant/Rockwell, LSI/Agere, Motorola, etc.

In device manager, go to “Modems” and check if a modem name is listed here. If so, double-click the Modem name listed here and then click Details Tab. Select and Scroll down to “Hardware IDs” in property and here you’ll find the VID (Vendor ID) and PID (Product ID) (example is VID_0572&PID_1300)

If the modem is missing then the default Windows driver could not be installed and Windows will allocate the modem under an “Unknown Device” heading. If you double-click the Unknown Device and click Properties, Details tab you should have the PID and VID or VEN and DEV values displayed here.  You can then search based on the VID and PID values.

Searching Windows Catalog for drivers

Windows provides an extensive list of drivers, you can search here and download the compatible drivers that available on Window Update.

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/

Type your search string, for example “PID_1329” will display all compatible drivers that contain the PID 1329 or enter “vid_0572” to display drivers that contain vendor ID 0572

Searching for Vendor ID or Product ID

If you are unsure who the vendor, or product id you can search https://devicehunt.com/ or http://www.pcilookup.com/ for information on Vendor ID or Product ID.  Note that USB device information may not be available on these sites.

The original http://www.pcidatabase.com/ is no longer available.

Voice Zone Connect discontinued, alternative Caller ID replacement

On December 2nd 2017, Spectrum (formerly TWC, Time Warner Cable) discontinued the Voice Zone Connect service that it offered to its phone service subscribers.  For many, this service was used for monitoring and blocking unwanted calls using the Caller ID feature.

Fortunately, you can continue to monitor and block specific Caller IDs using an inexpensive dial up fax/voice modem connected to your Spectrum/Time Warner phone line.  The original version of the VZ Enhanced software was specifically designed for TMC Voice Zone service and now it has been modified to allow the use of a dial up fax modem. The result is new software called VZ Enhanced 56K.

The good news is that you can use this free software on any type of phone line that has caller ID service when using a compatible fax modem. VZ Enhanced 56K can block incoming calls based on individual phone numbers, ranges of phone numbers, and even caller ID names. You can even play a voice message and hang up the line to blocked callers.

The software is compatible with our fax modems (with our updated modem drivers).  It is also functions in the background with FaxTalk Messenger Pro, FaxTalk Multiline Server and FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro, so you can continue having your faxes and voice mail answered.

For more information on VZ Enhanced 56K please visit the publishers web page at https://erickutcher.github.io/#VZ_Enhanced_56K

To use VZ Enhanced 56K you’ll need a compatible fax modem.  A voice modem is preferred, as you can playback a message and immediately hang up if you want to. To purchase a compatible fax modem that includes a free download of VZ Enhanced 56K visit our page https://www.getfaxing.com/product-category/hardware/

Did you receive an unexpected fax with the heading “A Happy FaxTalk User”?

What is FaxTalk?

FaxTalk is fax software used to transmit and receive faxes directly using a computer and telephone line. For over 25 years, Thought Communications FaxTalk software has provided reliable and low cost faxing for businesses, home offices and individuals. GetFaxing.com is one of several authorized re sellers of the FaxTalk fax software from Thought Communications.

If you received a fax with a “CSID” (Calling Station Identifier) heading that includes “A Happy FaxTalk User”, please be assured the fax did not originate from GetFaxing.com. We are not a fax broadcaster. We do not send unsolicited faxes or provide any type of third party faxing services on behalf of any company. We’re an independent company providing organizations and individuals fax software, fax modem hardware and support services.

The ‘Happy FaxTalk User’ heading you see on the fax page is the default pre-configured setting during the initial installation of the fax software. Legitimate businesses will replace this information to include their own company name, fax and/or phone number where they can be contacted. It is possible that an error or oversight during the setup of the FaxTalk software caused this setting to remain as the default.

We hate spam too, especially fax spam

To stop receiving these faxes, your first step is to contact the sender of the fax directly using the information that is presented on the actual fax. You can also use the caller id that appears on your phone or fax machine.

If you continue to receive faxes with a “A Happy FaxTalk User” and there is no additional information that can identify the sender, you can contact us with additional information about the fax (we may request for you to send us a copy) and we will do our best to identify the sender.

Our customers using the fax software are expected to follow all local/state/provincial laws of their own country in regards to the transmission of faxes. We will refuse sales and service to any customer that use the software for unsolicited “fax spamming” purposes.
