If you received a fax with a “CSID” (Calling Station Identifier) heading that includes “A Happy FaxTalk User”, please be assured the fax did not originate from GetFaxing.com. We are not a fax broadcaster. We do not send unsolicited faxes or provide any type of third party faxing services on behalf of any company. We’re an independent company providing organizations and individuals fax software, fax modem hardware and support services.
The ‘Happy FaxTalk User’ heading you see on the fax page is the default pre-configured setting during the initial installation of the fax software. Legitimate businesses will replace this information to include their own company name, fax and/or phone number where they can be contacted. It is possible that an error or oversight during the setup of the FaxTalk software caused this setting to remain as the default.

To stop receiving these faxes, your first step is to contact the sender of the fax directly using the information that is presented on the actual fax. You can also use the caller id that appears on your phone or fax machine.
If you continue to receive faxes with a “A Happy FaxTalk User” and there is no additional information that can identify the sender, you can contact us with additional information about the fax (we may request for you to send us a copy) and we will do our best to identify the sender.
Our customers using the fax software are expected to follow all local/state/provincial laws of their own country in regards to the transmission of faxes. We will refuse sales and service to any customer that use the software for unsolicited “fax spamming” purposes.
